Instructors

Chris (CJ) Jones
AWS Academy Technical Program Manager

Chris started his AWS career in January of 2016 inside of the Dallas AWS Premium Support center as a Windows Support Engineer where he quickly became engaged with improving our customer experience. After some months as a mentor and trainer within the Support group, he decided to follow a call back to his academic days and to join the AWS World Wide Public Sector Education team as a Professional Services Advisory consultant. It was during his time as an Advisory consultant that he became further enthralled with developing training and certification plans for customers. Focusing on training and certification ultimately lead him to the opportunity to join the AWS Academy team. Originally from the great white north (Michigan), he has found himself keeping busy with old traditions like boating, kayaking, BBQ and Meat Smoking, as well as just lounging around with his wife and fur-babies.

Lakshmi Inbamuthiah
AWS Academy Technical Program Manager

I’m Lakshmi Inbamuthiah. I am super excited to be a member of the AWS Academy team as a Technical Trainer/TPM, and to be a part of the mission to work with educators (like yourselves), to better prepare students for a career in cloud technology. I joined AWS as a specialist partner solutions architect focused on Alexa for Business early this year. Previously I was part of a horizontal DevOps enablement team at Capital One. Most of my career I have been in Financial Services as an analyst and technologist. Outside work, I spend a lot of time in my garden growing herbs and vegetables in summer (which is almost 9 months in Texas). During winter, I try to write and publish story books for children. I really look forward to working with y’all!
